ACT AFFORDABLE HOUSING PLAN

Canberra already has the best home loan affordability in Australia, and the ACT Government is taking a variety of actions to enhance housing affordability. The production of new house and land packages in the $200,000 to $300,000 price range is a key part of its Affordable Housing Action Plan.

The plan also provides new options for first home buyers and will see sites for up to 15,000 homes come onto the market over the next five years.
